Loyola University Chicago

Student Life

Thank you for visiting the Student Life website!

As you peruse our web pages you will find that the Student Life area is comprised of several departments that directly contribute to Loyola’s vibrant campus environment. We work in partnership with students and other university offices to create opportunities that engage students in learning through involvement in a broad range of activities on campus and in the surrounding community.

Student Life is devoted to supporting the Loyola Experience by providing thoughtfully integrated learning experiences that enrich students’ holistic growth and development. Be it through involvement in our registered student organizations, intramurals or fitness courses, leadership development programs, mentoring initiatives, cultural programs, or outdoor experiential activities, we provide students opportunities to actively explore their passions while developing the skills necessary to lead extraordinary lives.

The Student Life area is comprised of the following departments:

  • Arnold J. Damen, S.J., Student Center

  • Campus Recreation

  • Leadership Development & Second Year Experience

  • Student Activities & Greek Affairs (SAGA)

  • Student Diversity & Multicultural Affairs (SDMA)

I invite you to learn more about the involvement opportunities offered by each department. I am confident that in these pages, you will find programs and resources that meet your unique needs and interests.
